Neopec project wins government grant

The Victorian Government has awarded Neopec and a consortium of 7 other organisations a grant totalling $2.948 million over 2.5 years to develop the Neopec concept for breast tissue regeneration.
The grant, under the Victorian Science agenda program, was one of 24 projects announced today by the Victorian Government (http://www.business.vic.gov.au/BUSVIC/STANDARD/PC_63685.html ).
Victorian government funding is to be matched in cash and in kind by Neopec’s partner organisations – O’Brien Institute (OBI) (Neopec’s sold shareholder), the University of Melbourne, Anatomics Pty Ltd, Cogentum Pty Ltd, VTEC Pty Ltd and ATEC Pty Ltd – the latter two also be subsidiaries of OBI.
The grant runs through to mid 2012.
