Ms Rebecca James



Rebecca James joined the board of NEOPEC in December 2009 and was appointed Chair in May 2011.  She is also a Director of the National Breast and Ovarian Cancer Center.  Rebecca has been Chief Executive of Research Australia since July 2006, having joined that organisation in January 2006. Her background includes extensive experience working within government, health services and medical research advocacy. She was an adviser to Dr Michael Wooldridge, Minister for Health and Ageing, between 1996 and 1999, and Advisor on Medicare to Tony Abbott, Minister for Health and Ageing between 1994 and 1995.
